I am here because of a tree falling on my condo close by. It is very stressful. People like Felecia only add to the stress. So far I have been here for 2 weeks. My room gets cleaned every 4 days unless requested,. Really? I have slept on the same sheets for week. There is no communication here amongst the employees. Again some employees are great. Alianna, Dave, Joy, are a few. Please take Felicia out of this business.... Wrong! Not for her. Co-workers feel the same I agree. Well Felicia responded with fond whishes. First she is not the owner. Assistant Mgr. It 's called a bad attitude. She decided that my stay needed to be cut short by 20 days. Reluctantly she gave me two days to leave. I was not prepared for the quickness of the immediate move. But, got it done! I left this afternoon and am in a very nice local apartment that I just secured today. Amazing that someone who wants me to have a great day has the audacity to demand me out. Her attitude was in direct contrast of everyone else's. She was disrespectful to me 3 times and then made me leave when not planned. Well, I'm out. The hotel lost $3000 of business. I had to leave my home the moment the tree fell into the condo with nothing. It has been emotional to say the least. You have a wonderful day as well. You do not do your business the correct way. Negative directness needs to be softened. It is rude. Honestly, when I spoke to the GM concerning something totally different, he said you were no longer there. I had no clue who you were. I am confused. ? The others reviews that I have read are not favorable. I have stayed there many times. Ok, it is not the Ritz, but typically everyone is kind and wants to help. Well everyone got Free water until I came across you. You had rules for me and others for your choice of a better people. I treat everyone with kindness. I had your attitude in my direction 3 times. Do I need to go any further because this dual is redundant. Maybe corporate? I would have thought James would have handled this by now. I don’t expect more attitude from you again or higher ups will not be emailed but spoken to asap. Do I make myself clear? Thank you Felicia has opted out. Too bad. It’s coming. Amazing. Feliica has taken her responses out. Hmmm. I will call corporate on Monday.

The hotel staff was awesome. Mia, front desk employee, was very accommodating and professional. She had a beautiful smile and was very engaging. Everyone I came in contact with made me feel right at home. The hotel was clean and sanitized. I liked having the wrapper on the remote control. The bed was so comfortable. My husband rarely sleeps through the night, without tossing and turning. However, on Saturday night he slept like a baby! Keep up the great job!

I was served by a really nice lady during check-in. The rooms look somewhat better than the last time I stayed at this location.

Although I was not a guest, I had to pull over here because my daughter had just left the hospital from having surgery and she was violently ill. I did not know what else to do, so I ran in here and asked the young lady at the front desk if I could have a bag for her. She very quickly obliged and also offered a bottle of water. She should be commended for going out of her way to help, even if we weren’t a guest at the hotel. We will have to make several more trips before this is over and we will definitely be staying here. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name since I was in panicked Mama mode, but she was working around noon on 5/19/25. Thank you again!

We had to change our travel plans on VERY short notice to book here for the weekend. I can't speak to the ease or service there, but when I arrived our room was well maintained. Upon leaving (in the chaos of a big storm) I left a bag in the lobby and didn't realize until 4 hours later when I got home. I called the hotel and have to give credit to Aleah who put the bag in the back, moved any valuables to the small zip bag (per my request), and walked me through the process to FedEx it back to me. It was all done very timely and professionally as well as correspondence regarding it all on their end via email. Got my bag back in 2 days with everything accounted for. Can't thank enough for the great service! If ever in Birmingham again, I'd definitely stay here.

The rooms were clean but outdated. The service was very friendly. We stayed 2 nights and overall were pleased. I’m not sure we would stay again due to location. It’s 2025, why do we still have musty, grimy carpet in hotel rooms? The breakfast was good per my husband, and again, it was very clean and everyone we encountered was friendly. But we were there for a UAB function and it was a little too far for us, so we’d opt to stay closer to campus next time.

I travel for 150+ nights a year and typically don’t leave 5 star reviews on hotels, but rather just continue to rebook if I like it. I felt inclined to leave a review this time based on the plethora of reviews recently that completely made me question what I would be walking into. The hotel is older and with any older hotel, some TLC is needed BUT the staff here was great, the breakfast was good, the room was quiet and comfortable, and everything felt safe and secure. Reviews seem to be from guests expecting luxury accommodations. This was a more than adequate hotel and I’ll be back in future travel to Birmingham!
